Meet Our Team
I’m Kumar Dattatreyan, the founder and CEO of Treya Consulting, LLC.
As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker, I can offer you workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.
My leadership journey began over 30 years ago, when I led several multi-million dollar restaurant franchises. I later moved to running multi-million dollar IT projects. The transition from being a restaurateur to an IT PM was challenging but provided a rich learning experience.
I started out as a developer in the early 2000’s and transitioned to a leadership role as a Project Manager, all the while using the skills I’d gained in restaurants to help nurture one of the highest performing teams in the company I worked for at the time. I always gravitated to leading and serving others through my leadership, and this allowed me to discover something called the Agile Manifesto. This document resonated with me on many levels, and most of all in the model of leadership inherent in it.
I progressed from this point on to transition my role from a manager to a coach and have been coaching and training others for the past 15 years. My coaching is mostly in Enterprise Agile Transformations; helping medium to large organizations change how they work. As part of this change, the biggest challenge is in how leadership/management views people and the work they do and it's here that Agile Change methods are not quite as mature as they need to be. This is what led me to discover the John Maxwell Team and the wealth of coaching, mentoring and teaching models that have allowed me to help managers transition to leaders so much more effectively.

I’m Kevin Dattatreyan and I have spent my career in Energy and Finance before joining Treya Consulting. I started out as a consultant and worked to develop hedge programs for energy companies. I gained experience building complex models and presenting and influencing clients to make better decisions to help manage their costs. I then worked as a data analyst for two years after where I built statistical models that created pricing data for commodities. From my experience as a data analyst, I found that I enjoyed development work.
In my role at Treya Consulting I work towards increasing our exposure and to help with development projects. Having worked in both Agile and non-Agile environments, I have seen drastic differences in the speed with which products are created. We can help your company go through an Agile transformation to help build lean, high-performing teams. We also have access to near-shore development talent.
Results and customer driven, self-motivated, software engineering professional with 8 years hands on experience building back-end services and front-end applications using the latest technology available in today's market. My experience includes working with large technology companies as well as small start-up business.
A passionate developer and problem solver, always looking to find new and efficient ways to solve the most complex issues with simple solutions. I've built and launched multiple products from scratch, working through the entire software development life cycle.
With over 18 years in the software industry in a variety of roles, and a decade working as a coach, Nishant possesses a unique skill set to find creative and sustainable ways in the midst of traditional transformation methods. He strongly believes that guiding leaders on a path to a coaching mindset is key to unlocking the potential of the individual, the team, and ultimately the organization.
Being an entrepreneur set the stage for being a leader who understood that no single approach is the right one for every transformation. Working in different industries and constantly updating his skillset with the latest and efficient techniques equipped Nishant with the skills and the pragmatism to adapt quickly to changing environments.
Nishant is a recognized agile change agent and leader and his experience in traditional/legacy environments and his pragmatic approach to Agile Transformation allows him to help organizations bridge the gap when adopting Agile practices.
Most recently, Nishant has been working to incorporate various business agility techniques and XSCALE principles to his method of training, coaching and speaking to help his clients in their transformation.
